The role
 

This is initially a 12 month FTC 

The HR Administrator is accountable to the Head of HR and is part of the HR shared services team.  The purpose of the team is to provide comprehensive team member life cycle administrative support for to all Head Office, field  village and care team members

Principle Responsibilities and responsibilities:

  • Provide a confidential, high quality, professional and effective administrative service for all employee (team member) life cycle activities.
  • Build strong trusted relationships both within HR and across the organisation to ensure the provision of an outstanding service.
  • To work closely to ensure collaboration with the Head of HR, functional Heads of Department, GM’s and CBM’s within all areas of Audley Group.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and team sessions, collating agendas, taking minutes and following up on agreed actions
  • To support customers directly and through the team with the aim of implementing change where needed
  • Assist with internal and external HR related enquiries that are received by the Head of HR, enlisting support from the relevant HR team as required to respond in a timely manner
  • To effectively deliver compliance and administration requirements within agreed SLA’s.
  • To support in the monitoring, reviewing and updating of all HR Policies, ensuring that these are in line with current legislation.
  • Support investigation work by documenting meetings and preparing statements to accurately reflect the situation under review.
  • Assist in the preparation of management case bundles in preparation for appeal or tribunal hearings.
  • Maintain HR trackers and report on progress to the Head of HR and the HR Leadership Team.
  • To track on-boarding and ensure that confirmation of employment corresponds with supporting documentation.
  • To deliver mandatory and organisational reports through the shared services team in a timely manner considering the timelines set for various reporting requirements.
  • Undertake a variety of project-based activities, including research and analysis of information and data and monitoring of progress
  • Maintain a computerised HR record system and produce and submit reports on HR activity on a regular basis
  • To ensure compliance with the use of the HR systems and any other HR IT systems relevant to the HR shared service.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operational/generalist HR role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, quickly building relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Sound knowledge of HR Policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint

    £25,000 - £27,000 DOE
