Financial Accounting Manager (0070)

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Accountant and Audit professional to join our growing Finance team! Reporting to the Financial Controller you will take ownership of all financial reporting requirements to stakeholders in the joint venture structures.

You will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Manage the annual financial statement filing process and related requirements ensuring timely and accurate filings
  • Ensure that Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and any risks highlighted to the Financial Accounting Manager
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Prepare statutory accounts and reposting packs and liaise with external auditors as required
  • Assist in regular management reporting and covenant reporting to stakeholders including equity owners and banks
  • Lead the statutory reporting deliverables for the Group
  • Assist forecasts and business plans as agreed with Financial planning
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on IFRSs and FRS 102, including interpreting guidance regarding accounting issues

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA
  • Experience in a top 10 audit firm
  • Attention to detail and strong financial control skills
  • Experience of UK GAAP / IFRS Joint Venture accounting
